DNA Testing Form

Please fill out for all foals, youngstock or mature horses being presented for original registration papers, and all mares and stallions who do not already have DNA on file with Westfalen or another registry. Please note – DNA test results are also required for sire, and in cases of weaned horses/embryo transfer, also the dam of offspring requesting original registration papers.

Once you have filled out this form you will receive a DNA Test Kit (PDF) by email with instructions on how to pull and place the hairs. Cost is $65 per DNA test for Markers/Parentage Verification, or $100 for Markers/Parentage Verification and Warmblood Fragile Foal Syndrome (WFFS) Carrier test.
